PRAVDA  BMX

PRAVDA is a gang of friends from Moscow who promote street bmx culture in Russia. We exist since 2010, we have two full-length bmx films on our account, one of which we filmed over four years in Russia, Spain and Israel.

Since 2016, we have been holding our traditional street jam at the beginning of the season in Moscow.

All those wishing to participate come, observing the dress code - four pegs and a large white T-shirt. The crowd goes along a pre-planned route, in which there are usually four or five spots, and for each trick we make, we give a cash. Leading along the route is our permanent leader - Gleb Kropotov. Glebchik always turns on the crowd with his charisma.

At the end of the day at the after-party in the bar, we announce the King of Street Glory - the one who, in our opinion, is remembered for the coolest tricks throughout the route. In 2018, it was Shastik, who came to us from Sochi, and in 2019 we chose Anton Shebeko as the King .

In 2018, for the first time, we gathered a crowd of 200 people, which we ourselves did not expect at all. At some point, we even blocked the Garden Ring, moving from one side of it to the other. The route that year was very successful - from the Prefecture of the Tagansky District down the Garden Ring to Kursk, intercepting two railings and steps with a face and a wall ride along the way. This journey took us four hours.

In support of the jam, we released a batch of T-shirts, which are now sold out. The author of the print photo on the chest is our friend and photographer Danila Kolodin .

In 2020, due to the pandemic, we were unable to hold the fifth anniversary Street Glory, so we were especially happy to hold it in 2021! Fifth Street Glorywas held on May 22 in the city of Mytishchi, and in honor of the anniversary of the jam, we released a limited new batch of white oversized t-shirts . The jam brought together more than 200 people, and the prize fund amounted to 80 thousand rubles, 30 of which were distributed to all participants for the tricks they performed. The King of Street Glory for the second time in a row was Anton.

We prepared three printed zines based on the results of our trips to Israel with the Bespaly brothers in 2018 and the whole gang to Barcelona in 2019 and to the south of Russia in 2021. You can find them in our store .

In 2019, we took part in the Faces&Laces exhibition, the theme of which that year was the history of subcultures. We presented our booth dedicated to the history of domestic bmx. On it we collected truly unique artifacts: archival photographs of the early 2000s with the fathers of Russian bmx - Vladimir Kosyakov and Alexander Sokolay; medals from the first competition; autographs of the first foreign pro riders who visited Moscow; and also digitized VHS tapes of skating from the early 2000s
