Being an Icelandic bmx rider can be a bit strange since my country has a population of 300 thousand so it makes it hard for a big bmx scene to exist, in Iceland there are only 8-10 guys my age who ride bmx at amateur/professional level, although the scene is growing and it's fun because now my friends and I in summer and winter have 3 groups of 15 kids that we give bmx classes to and daaam is fucking good because in a few years we'll have big jams in Reykjavik and we will be able to have guys from all over the world visit us, in fact, although in Iceland it is very difficult to make a bmx career, riding bmx here in Iceland can be exceptional since there is a fairly wide selection of spots and with fun obstacles, in fact In my video for "just can't do it" and in Lewis Colascione's video "Iceland Holiday" you can see how many spots we have to ride.
Although it sounds cliche, bmx is everything to me, it has made me live surreal experiences that have allowed me to meet fucking great people with whom I have lived great moments... I love you guys, you know who you are.
Now in this 2023 I became a professional I am in the pro skate pro team and in the subrosa and shadow conspiracy amateur teams and it has been great to know that I achieved it, achieved the dream of a child.
THANKS BMX FOR EVERYTHING
