Hello friend, my name is Misha, I come from Belarus, I live and travel here. I want to tell you how I started skating and what BMX means to me. Since I was little I dreamed of a bicycle, specifically BMX. I loved watching the guys ride, trick, drop and climb in the movies to do another awesome trick that will bring emotions to the rider who did this trick, which are very hard to get in everyday life. I always asked my parents to buy me a bike, but... the reality is that parents don't always understand their children, but one day I came home and saw a new bike at home, and it wasn't a BMX, but I was as happy as any child to introduce the first bike. I rode it and started at a young age jumping on it from the steps and trying something new. A few years later my friend got a BMX and the first day we went to the track for extreme motorcycles and started flying on various jumps, and then we discovered dirt (ground springboards for MTB and BMX) and on a simple bike I learned to fly dirt and at the same time I really wanted to buy a bike. A year later, I sold my bike and added the accumulated money to the sale amount, I found an advertisement for the sale of a bicycle. I bought it 15 minutes before the exam))))). Just so you understand, I bought it for + -40$. There was a bent fork, there were no bearings in the head.
Over time I started putting money into improving the bike and sometimes the guys who were also riding helped me out. They gave me their old parts. Then I realized that BMX is more than a sport, I realized that BMX is a whole family, where everyone is willing to help each other, I still remember how I did my first trick, this trick was with one foot . Then I tried to do 180 for a long time, but I couldn't). But no matter how strange it may sound... I did 360 before 180 and then I figured out how to turn a bike. Throughout the season of riding, I have mastered the basic tricks and even learned to drill. Today I have been skating for about two years now and I can do many different and fancy tricks. I still remember installing my first tailwhip. Then I felt such emotions that for several days I walked with a smile on my face and pride that I finally did this trick. During my career, I have convinced myself more than once that BMX is a separate world where freedom, true friendship, emotions and perseverance rule. I've been injured a lot, broken bones, sprained and stubbed fingers, but this didn't stop me from getting up and getting the hang of it. After all, we all know what it's like to learn a new trick. Our company and I constantly attend various events, BMX competitions, where I get a lot of motivation to ride, meet new guys and communicate with riders from all over the country. I even organized BMX competitions myself and I liked to give emotions to those who ride, to give motivation. And I'm also lucky that BMX has become my job and it brings me money, I ride weddings, dances and parties and get paid for it... and it's very exciting to get paid for what I love. I can say with complete confidence that BMX has become a part of my life for me and I will never forget it. I hope that in a few years he will start skating even stronger. Let's see what happens. BMX is our everything, I want to develop this sport and I want more guys to play sports and become stronger in their efforts, never give up and go to the finish line with their heads held high. One BMX brand, namely STRESSBMX, has the loud phrase “MAKE BMX GREAT AGAIN” and I totally support them, let's do tricks and style together! I told you and street culture magazine the BMX story in my life! Good luck !!!!
